Why Say “NO” to Optical Brighteners

Optical brighteners are synthetic chemicals used to make your clothes appear brighter. When UV light strikes the brighteners, garments appear to glow.

Optical brighteners do not help make clothes clean. They are used by the big detergent companies to create the illusion of clean. They must not be very confident in the effectiveness of their product if they have to play tricks, huh?

What’s worse: optical brighteners are designed to stay with our clothes, so they can rub off on our skin when we wear them. For some people, they … Read more

Causes of Diaper RashDiaper rashes are part of life. Most babies and kids will have them from time to time, even if you use cloth diapers. I Love that it is Animal Cruelty Free and works like no other!!

All the other vegan laundry detergents leave my clothes smelling very weird, especially my polyester uniform. It was so disturbing, I thought I had body odor, until I actually smelled my clothes right after cleaning them. I was so upset, I thought I would have to smell bad because I was not going to use over-perfumed detergents that test on animals.

Then I stumbled on RG. I was so excited when my clothes not only smelled clean, but were soft and actually clean without having to wash them again. So I wrote to the company, and lucky for me, well, and those that stand next to me, I was told not only does RG not test on animals, but they do not purchase ingredients from companies that test on animals.

Clean clothes, soft clothes; people, animal and planet friendly. Who can ask for anything more. Thank you

Thank you Rockin’ Green

Eczema solved

We've been battling on and off eczema/diaper rash for weeks. It was to the point that I was worried we would have to give up cloth diapers. Switched from our old cloth diaper soap to Rockin' Green Classic Rock Bare Naked Babies and everything cleared up beautifully! Thank you for making an awesome product!

YAY!

tara_p
YAY! I got my Rockin Green today. I love the bucket. I poured my bag of Classic Rock Bare Naked Babies in there along with the scoop. The scoop is nice and long so it won't get buried, and the green contrasts against the white soap nicely. Now I can't wait to do laundry!

Great for my sensitive skinned daughter!

I just cracked open my second bag of Rockin Green. My daughter has sensitive skin (just like her mommy) and Rockin Green has given us our best diaper cleaning experience so far. We have hard water and we use the Hard Rock. It gets our diapers clean, doesn't have any build up, and doesn't cause any kind of irritation. Thanks so much!

Awesome stuff! – Carmine Graziano

I got a free sample of this in my Stridebox so I gave it a try. I've tried several "sport" detergents on my dri-fit running clothes but the always come out the machine still smelling like sweat. I put all of my running clothes in there and they all smell clean again! This stuff is AWESOME! I will will be buying a full size bag on payday. Thank you! I give it 2 thumbs up!

So the soap is awesome! – Kris Crawford

It got out the mat stains that constantly crop up on my and my daughters Gi's (I was stunned by this by the way because we typically live with blue puzzlemat stains on our knees, elbows and butts). It also wipes out the incidental blood that crops up in combat sports and the sweaty smell from all our other training gear combat or not.  I told all the folks in the Academy about it but don't know where to tell them to get any.

Rockin green rocks my baby’s bottom!

Love rockin green. My friend used it for her baby's cloth diapers and she suggested it for me. I love it! I use it for all my laundry now. Since we have hard water, I don't have soap scum build up in my washer anymore! My baby is safe from chemicals! I am allergic to some laundry detergents and I have never gotten a rash even with the fun sents! Thanks rockin green!

I Love It!

I was so happy last week my favorite scents were back in stock and when received my bags today, I shouted for joy at the new packaging. I LOVE IT! I can see on the outside when I am running low. We use RNG for all of our laundry and it cleans hubby's military uniform nicely without leaving any "girly laundry" scents we had before.

RG saved my stash!

I'm not going to lie, I purchased Rockin Green out of desperation. I, like many other CD mommas in vehement denial, thought that I could make regular cheap detergent work for my CD routine. And it did...for a while. That is, until I got a "smell", nay, a "stench". This wasn't the normal hint of ammonia that comes from a not so clean diaper, that simply needs to be rewashed. This was a full fledged barn yard-dy wretchedness, that brought about unbridled fear, to changing the light of my life/reason for living/beautiful spawn...and I love changing my baby (I'm a weirdo, I know). It got so bad, that I was hesitant to hand my mini me off to others, fearing what they would think, and say, behind our smelly backs. When referring to her, would they whisper, "Oh, you mean the super cute one who smells like hot garbage?". Yup, that's her. She would forevermore, be branded "the smelly kid", and all before her 1st birthday. Her elementary school persona predestined, all because her mom couldn't get her s*** together, literally and figuratively. Fast forward to today, when I got my bag of RG detergent in the mail (from cottonbabies.com, BTW. It's cheaper and they're awesome). I was a broken woman, I tell you. In all honesty, the size of the bag didn't exactly put me at ease. No larger than a 3/4 full gallon ziploc, I was far from convinced that this green bag full of "awesome" (their words) would be the answer to my prayers, never mind give me 90 loads of cleanly joyfulness. I have a HE washer and the instructions recommended a measly 1 tablespoon of detergent. ONE tablespoon! I scoffed. No way would a fairy fart of detergent, touch what my baby's butt had brought to this party. But, remember, I was a broken woman and, thus, willing to try anything. I prepared a load of diapers and covers, crossed my fingers and toes, and waited. When the last spin cycle was complete, I let out a long breath and prepared myself for yet another deep inhalation of nostril piercing funk, mixed with a hint of regret for what I had...and lost. Not wanting to further prolong the inevitable, I slowly opened the door, stuck my head in, and took a deep inhale...and it was GLORIOUS! It smelled like...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL! Hallelujah! My stash was saved and my sweet baby's future wide open, all thanks to a dash of Rockin Green. I will be, forever, indebted to you, RG. Love, a very happy, rockin' momma.

“Funky” Puppies

angela_h
My mom's dog just had a litter of 13 puppies and for the first 3 weeks of life she keeps sheets/comforters down to help keep the puppies warmer and she basically figured she would never get those clean they were essentially BLACK they were so dirty! She bought the funk rock figuring she would give it a shot to at least get out the smell.. those sheets/comforters are clean enough to put on her bed and you can't even tell puppies were on them for a week straight! I knew your stuff was awesome but we are amazed it got the crap (no pun intended) out of that comforter its amazing!
